Austin Douglas
Austin has been a Commercial Certified Pesticide Applicator in Michigan for the last 12 years. He also holds credentials with the International Society of Arboriculture such as: ISA Certified Arborist, ISA Tree Risk Assessment Qualified as well as ISA Michigan Chapter Oak Wilt Qualification.
He is also a Tree Care Industry Association (TCIA) Qualified Plant Health Care Technician, and Tree Care Specialist.
He owns and operates his own pesticide application firm, Ditch The Itch - Poison Ivy and Mosquito Control Services in Goodrich, Michigan. His pesticide application firm has served thousands of clients throughout southeast and mid Michigan and currently have 183 five star reviews on Google.
He is also an instructor for Michigan Pesticide Applicators with the Michigan Green Industry Association (The largest Green Industry Association in South East Michigan and likely the entire state). As an instructor, he has taught in person classes with over 180 students in attendance.
He has helped thousands of pesticide applicators pass the National Pesticide Applicator Core Exam through free trainings on YouTube and with his 200 question practice exam he created on the National Pesticide Applicator Core Manual.
His passion for teaching pesticide applicators stems from what he wished he would have had when he entered the industry.
He has also observed the aging demographic of pesticide applicators and actively encourages younger adults to enter the pesticide applicator industry.
